Doo A Diddy.

A couple final diddies for you today. Yes, this makes 3 posts for the day, but by the end of the week, we are going to be back to talking about siding, so I need to give you a little extra momentum to get you to Friday, which is...CABINET DAY!

One of the things on my list for today was to order the towel bars for the new powder room. My dad is a huge fan of the site www.atgstores.com for all his remodeling needs. So I took a cue from him and decided to check out their towel bar selection (I've been disappointed by Home Depot, Lowe's and even Restoration Hardware). I was VERY pleased with the selection ATG had to offer (420 TP holders in oil rubbed bronze) and managed to put together a duo I think will function perfectly in our tiny bathroom (did I mention they offer free shipping!) Here's the TP holder:

...and the towel ring:

There literally isn't enough uninterrupted wall space in this bathroom to put an 18" towel bar up, so I'll settle for a quaint ring that will function just fine for such a petite space. I really loved the design of these and felt it went with the rest of the house. I remembered why when I was walking through the front door later today:

Coincidence? I think not.

On another note, I finally got around to having our bedskirt hemmed for our master bedroom. I have been meaning to do this forever, but needed to wait for our new bedframe to arrive in order to get an accurate measurement of what the bed called for. It turned out perfect and definitely makes the room feel more complete.

Finally, remember back to my dreamy drapery fabric that turned into a budget busting heartbreaker?

Well, fear no more my friends because we found a way to get the fabric for literally HALF the price, the hardware cut in MORE than half and the labor dirt cheap. The drapery will be a reality my friends and I am over the moon! It will be possibly 2 months before they are completed, but let's be honest, by that point, I'm going to need something to talk about:-)
